It all started with my grandfather, the quintessential entrepreneur. He was involved in several building and development related businesses and it was that work that inspired my father and his brothers to continue in the craftsman tradition. After serving in World War II, my father returned to Chicago and started McLoughlin Custom Builders. With his hands, he built the homes that were shaped by each customers dreams. He took great pride and care in building those dreams. When I was old enough, I worked alongside my father, learning his craft and eventually the business passed to the next generation.
Our over forty five years of experience enables us to thoughtfully plan, schedule and expertly produce not just a quality building but an exceptional home in which you would be proud to live.
